For over 7 years we have been rescuing and caring for injured wildlife. We at Snake Rescue have been involved with all kinds of injured native animals but our main focus has been with the rehabilitation of reptiles. Much of this has been volunteer based and self funded. We're always in need of more equipment. If you would like to help us please go to our contact page.
We currently volunteer for several wildlife organisations. Our main focus is with Badgar which was founded by the people at the Greendale Wildlife Shelter. We also work in collaboration with several of the local Veterinary clinics and several conservation groups.
If you find an injured animal please call us or call BADGAR on:
1300 BADGAR or 1300 223 427
BADGAR has a 24-hour emergency telephone service for people needing help with injured, sick or orphaned wildlife. Badgar also has a network of trained volunteers who can care for native animals until they are ready to be released back into the wild.
