Red Bellied Black Snake
Pseudechis Porphyriacus
Description:
Glossy blue black usually with pink, orange or red scales on lower side of body . Red to cream belly, top of head and body generally the same colour. Snout often brown
Habits:Usually lives close to water of in wetter regions such as creek or rivers. Often seen basking close to water, diving into water when disturbed.
